The Nigerian Association in South Australia (NASA), upholds the principles of freedom, equality, and justice. We are a not for profit association committed to the social, cultural, educational, economic, physical, and psychological well-being of all our members.
Objectives
To promote peace and unity among our members
• To be good ambassadors of Nigeria and law-abiding citizens
• To promote the existence of a good relationship between the Nigerian Community in South Australia, and support activities for community growth and development
• To help members settle smoothly in South Australia and provide important information on living in South Australia
• To enhance the social and welfare status of all Nigerians in South Australia
• Promoting and fostering unity among all Nigerians residing in South Australia and Australia without discrimination as well as acting as a support group for all members.
• Fostering good relationship between Nigerians, other Africans and the wider Australian community.
• Encouraging all Nigerians to participate in and/or contribute to the task of nation building both in Australia and Nigeria.
• Promoting Nigerian Arts and Culture.
• Participating as a group in matters relating to the Multicultural Communities Council of SA and other affiliated bodies in South Australia.
